Tool (for textiles) (Quilt stamp)

Description

A rectangular quilt stamp made from a non ferrous white metal. A rectangular base with a round handle set into the center. The surface is stamped with intaglio floral motifs and geometric patterns. The stamp terminates with small feet at each corner (these would support the stamp while it was in use) The center of the rectangle is designed with a chamber to hold moveable type. The letters appear to spell a name in a script font, but are not legible "LLB [.....]" An iron screw holds the moveable type chamber in place.
