Base formed from a round copper disc with eight 1/4" dovetails soldered into bottom of body, section of this circle is pieced with two dovetails. The entire base is slightly domed. The spout is formed with a straight seam along entire top, inserted into a hole in the body and splayed on interior, and then soldered.
