Construction Description
The body is hammered from sheet with a seam (straight? or single dovetail) on spout side; straight un-rolled lip; base formed of oval with eleven 1/2-3/4" dovetails soldered into bottom of body; spout formed with straight seam along entire top, inserted into collared hole in body and splayed on interior, then soldered; brackets attached with three copper rivets to body just below shoulders at front and back; bent, flat, bail handle pivots on copper upper bracket knob riveted to center of lid (as per previous cataloguer).
