Description
A cotton shift, although the decorative work on the bodice suggests that this may have been a nightgown. The bodice is covered in pintucks and openwork, with additional ruffles of lace. Marked in ink in the center of garment. "Ellie M. Taylor" at center front. Short sleeves that are edged in "lace-like" bands of coordinating openwork.
