John Chalmers

Description
Three tiny coins bearing the surname of Annapolis, Maryland silversmith and city councilman John Chalmers are examples of early coinage or tokens produced in several states prior to the establishment of a common currency in the United States. Chalmers is credited with producing two different designs for the one shilling coin, and possibly colaborating with silversmith Thomas Sparrow for the six pence which also bears the initials "TS".
