Undergarment (Woman's undergarment)

Description

A one piece woman's undergarment, known as a "combination" that combines a camisole with drawers. This is made of cotton. The short sleeves and square neckline are edged with eyelet trim. Eight mother of pearl buttons close the garment from the front. The drawers are open at the center. Identical trim is used on the cuffs of each leg. The cuff is also adorned with four pin tucks. There is a printed tape label attached at the inside of the back of the neck "Eleanor T. Albertson" This garment is machine stitched and was created in the late 19th century.
