Dress

Description

A dress, made of silk and linen and worn as a wedding dress. There is a sheer silk net covering the long sleeved linen bodice and extending throughout as a long, flowing overskirt. The bodice has a round neckline and is open at the front. The bodice closes in the front with a row of brass hook and eye fasteners. The sheer silk "over bodice" closely fits the shape of the bodice. Thie is missing the underskirt (or may have been worn with petticoats, also missing).
