Dress (Child's dress)

Description

A child's dress, made of cotton. The yoke is curved in a semi-circle and embroidered with whitework. Lace trim along the round neckline. The medium length sleeves are set into the dress with raglan construction. Wrists are trimmed with lace. The bodice is embellished with floral themed embroidery and a A band of whitework decoration circles the hem above horizontal pin-tucked pleats. To create volume at the back of the yoke, there are pin-tucked pleates on either side of the placket. Three buttons are on back of the yoke to close the dress. Whitework pre-embroidered. One seam at the back of the dress A border of embroidered openwork and a group of four horizontal tucks embellish the skirt above the hem.
