Description
A high-waisted baby's dress made of plain-weave linen. The high neckline is trimmed with a scalloped linen collar with a border of eyelets. The scalloped edges are embroidered with cream silk. The bodice is embellished with four vertical pintucks. Long sleeves are hemmed, not embellished. The back of the dress closes with three mother of pearl buttons. The back is embellished with additional pintucks, and the button placket is covered with coordinating eyelet trim, above an additional length of scalloped eyelet trim (similar to the trim used on the collar) at the waistline.
