Description
This fragment of unglazed grey-brown earthenware is part of a vessel of a possibly circular but now unknown form. One surface features painted brown wavy-edged parallel stripes against the red clay body. The opposite surface is gray. This object is most likely associated with the O'odham culture. It was acquired, as per the donor Mr. L. T. Alexander, near the Santa Cruz River in Tucson, Arizona. No details are recorded regarding the discovery methods used for this object.
