Description
This fragment of unglazed buff-colored earthenware is part of a vessel of a possibly circular but now unknown form. The exterior surface is a gray color, possibly as the result of firing or use over a fire. This object is most likely associated with the O'odham culture. It was acquired, as per the donor Mr. L. T. Alexander, near the Santa Cruz River in Tucson, Arizona. No details are recorded regarding the discovery methods used for this object.
