Description
This fragment of unglazed earthenware is part of a vessel of a possibly circular but now unknown form. The body appears red on the interior and gray on the exterior, possibly from exposure to heat during firing or during use. This object is most likely associated with the O'odham culture. It was acquired, as per the donor Mr. L. T. Alexander, near the Santa Cruz River in Tucson, Arizona. No details are recorded regarding the discovery methods used for this object.
