Chasuble fragment
Description
A fragment from a chasuble. A panel of brocaded silk with a large scale floral motif. This appears to be a front panel (with a V-shaped neckline) along with a portion of the shoulder. Lined with linen, or possibly Hessian lining (which is a bit more coarse and made from jute).
