Origin Notes
Origin is the Shaker Community of Mount Lebanon, New York. Acquired by the donor in 1934. According to the donor this tray "came from the old herb houses in New Lebanon. Sister Sadie Neale said the tray was used by the sisters to shell beans and empty them into a large bin." (see letter from the donor, 5/18/78).
