Description
A baby's cap, made of linen and cotton. Fine linen gauze embroidered throughout in satin stitch with repeated chevrons and a delicate frond-like design radiating from the crown and leaf-like forms along three rows of eyelets at the bottom. Drawstrings adjust the fit at the forehead and nape of neck. Origin in Philadelphia area.
