Description
A baby's cap made of linen. There is a plain-weave ruffle at the front edge of the cap in front of a wide band of embroidered decorations with a floral motif, executed in chain stitch consisting of a zig-zag band on either side of intertwining vines with leaves throughout. Linen tape ties at the sides, to tie under the chin. Origin is area of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
