Description
A baby's cap made of cotton. The fabric has a woven stripe pattern along with three bands of drawnwork near the front. Embellished along the drawnwork section with satin stitch dots. A plain-weave fabric ruffle is attached to the front edge of the cap. Linen tape ties are attached at the sides of the cap, to tie at the chin. A linen drawstring secures the fit at the nape of the neck. Origin area of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
