Description
This is one of two soup plates at Winterthur which are thought to have formed part of the Stadtholder of Holland service made at Meissen between around 1772 and 1774. The scenes on the service portray Dutch ports and harbors. The view shown here may be of the East India House in Enkhuyzen.
