This teapot is attributed via its painting characteristics with a group of tinware decorated in Berlin Connecticut or New York Filley shop, according to Martin and Tucker, American Painted Tinware, vol.. IV, fig. 3.25, p. 131.
The creation place was identified as America by a previous cataloguer [Lorena Baines 2007].
