Description
A pewter horn-shaped snuff mull curves and tapers to a point at one end. The other end, a flat lid, is attached with a three-knuckle hinge across the opening. Rows of engraved bands and triangular forms decorate the surface around the opening. A shield outlined with a stippled border appears on each side. The lid has a wriggle border, a common form of chasing on pewter.
