Perez/ Morton of Quincy, Mass. It was descended in the/ (illegible)... family and was last owned by Mrs./ John (can't read due to wear to label)." Following the above print is cursive writing in blue ink, what is legible follows: "Gilbert Stuart portrait of Mrs. Morton _______) was given by Mrs. Robertson____way of Boston".
