Edition Notes
Publication date is circa. First issue by Danckers in 1655, entitled Novi Belgii Novaeque Angliae Nec Non Partis Virginiae Tabula, did not contain Philadelphia (which was laid out in August 1682) and connected the Delaware and Hudson Rivers by a lake. To make these corrections, the original plate was reworked in the appropriate area; the names of New Jersey, Maryland, and several other locations were also added.
