Origin Notes
Origin is France or possibly Bohemia.
The plain, recessed rim is a feature typical of Continental glass and the shapes relate closely to glass made by the Saint-Louis factory in Lorraine in the 1860s. There are several nonlead glass pieces in the service that suggest the set could have been made in Bohemia. See Palmer, p. 84.
