Winterthur's Analytical laboratory tested the sauceboat body alloy as 84.4% silver; 14.8% copper, 0.26% lead, and 0.28% gold. The handle alloy was: 92.6% silver; 6.8% copper, 0.27% lead, and 0.19% gold. One foot was tested: 95.1% silver; 4.6% copper, 0.16% lead, and 0.15% gold.
