Winterthur's Analytical laboratory tested the sauceboat body alloy as 87.3% silver; 12.1% copper, 0.17% lead, and 0.20% gold. The handle alloy was: 87.1% silver; 11.5% copper, 0.23% lead, and 0.17% gold. One foot was tested: 94.5% silver; 5.4% copper, 0.12% lead, and 0.11% gold.
