Needs weight.
This stand was analyzed by Catherine Matsen in the SRAL on August 17, 2023 and found to have trace amounts of gold and lead with a consistently high concentration of silver in 10 test sites. The upper surface tested between 93.1 - 93.6%; the surface edge was 93.3 - 95.1%; and the underside of the stand's edge was 96.1 - 96.2% silver. The head of the instrument and the foot were not close enough in geometry to be in direct contact, but the reading was 96.3% silver. Copper had the highest weight on the surface (6.69%) and the lowest on the underside of the rim (3.73%) and the foot, although contact was not direct (3.53%).
