Case for medal
Description
This is a square, black leather medal case. It is hinged on one side and has a small circular knob on the opposite side. The interior contains a green colored velvet insert with a circular hole in its center, designed to hold a 2.5-inch diameter medal. See object 2017.0043.017 B for the medal. This object is one of a large group transferred to Winterthur from the American Textile History Museum when it closed in 2017.
