Description
This section of cotton cloth includes the bolt end, with text printed in blue ink and an original label still attached. The label does not include the name of the manufacturer, but features an image of a bison inside of a golden, oval-shaped frame. Text printed on the bolt end identifies the fabric as “American Long Cloth.” This object is one of a large group transferred to Winterthur from the American Textile History Museum when it closed in 2017.
