Description
The dark olive-green nonlead glass bottle is of "onion" form, featuring a squat globular profile with a tapering neck and an uneven lip above the applied string rim. The underside features a deep conical kick with a disc pontil scar with an impressed square(?) at center. A slip of paper surviving inside the bottle has the typed inscription: "Lyster Farm, Middletown, N.Y. 1727."
