Description
This “Pin the Tail on the Donkey” game is made of off-white cotton with an image of a tailless donkey printed or stenciled on it in black ink. Part A depicts the donkey with text below it reading “Our Donkey Party.” Parts B through L are tails, numbered with Roman numerals, which are also printed in black and cut from the same fabric as part A. This object is one of a large group transferred to Winterthur from the American Textile History Museum when it closed in 2017.
