The Fulton Bag & Cotton Mills manufactured this cotton seed bag sometime around the mid-19th century. The Fulton Bag company was based in Atlanta, George but owned plants throughout the United States. This bag was made for Thompson Hybrid Corn Co., Inc. and is printed with the logo of their “Tomahawk Hybrids” brand of hybrid corn seeds. This object is one of a large group transferred to Winterthur from the American Textile History Museum when it closed in 2017.
