Description
This small cotton bag has printed black text reading “Eagle Manufacturing Co.” The bag is a plain weave, off-white cotton with machine-made chain stitching. The bottom and right sides are stitched, left side is folded, and top edge is turned and stitched. There is a brown drawstring with metal tips, like a shoestring, around the opening to secure it shut. This object is one of a large group transferred to Winterthur from the American Textile History Museum when it closed in 2017.
