Description
This small cotton bag was made for the Universal Winding Company of Rhode Island. It is made of plain-woven, off-white cotton with machine stitching. The Universal Winding Company manufactured machinery for the textile industry, including the Leesona brand of bobbin winders referenced on this bag. This object is one of a large group transferred to Winterthur from the American Textile History Museum when it closed in 2017.
