Description
This small, dark blue wool fragment has a stamped label reading “Thoroughly Shrunk / Warranted.” The label is stamped in gold and depicts two concentric ovals containing the text and decorative curved lines. This object is one of a large group transferred to Winterthur from the American Textile History Museum when it closed in 2017.
