Description
This section of a warping mill came to Winterthur with a loom that has been used in southeastern Pennsylvania for over two hundred years. This piece is the wooden block onto which the rest of the warping mill was mounted. By placing the rounded axle into the hole in this chestnut block, the whole construction could rotate and unwind the warp theads from the spooling rack.
