Description
This lam hook came to Winterthur alongside a shaft loom that was made in the late eighteenth century in Southeastern Pennsylvania and used there for over two hundred years. It holds the lam sticks together, helping to stabilize the weaving process as the weaver steps back and forth on the treadles.
