Description
This section of a warping mill came to Winterthur with a loom that has been used in southeastern Pennsylvania for over two hundred years. Weavers use warping mills to begin to construct a loom's warp. As they rotate the entire mill around its central axis, threads are drawn off of the scarne and transferred onto the spokes.
