Description
A part of a child's cotton gown. A cotton bodice that is related to 2013.0048.051 B. A white cotton bodice, adorned with openwork and whitework embroidery. Ayershire work. The bodice is open in the back. The top and bottom edges of the bodice are adjusted with tape drawstrings.This style of handwork (combining openwork and whitework) is known as broderie Anglaise.
