Gown

Description

A long, cotton batiste gown with a high waisted bodice and vertical rows of inserted lace. The skirt has a repeating floral motif which has been embroidered by machine, and accented with some additional openwork that was added by hand. The back closes with three buttons and a tape drawstring at the waist.The hem is scalloped and adorned with an embroidered border with eyelets and floral sprigs.
