Box (Presentation box)

Description

A presentation box, made of pasteboard and fully lined with silk, from the Brussels lace manufacturer Boval de Beck. The presentation box is covered with a brown pasteboard lid. Once the lid is removed and the two white and gilt flaps are opened, the interior of the box is visible. The interior of the box contains four flaps, each lined (along with the main compartment of the box) in blue satin.Two lengths of light blue silk ribbon are designed to hold the lace in place.A rectangular paper (and gilt) label is affixed to one flap. The label is printed in decorative lettering and trimmed with a border of gold.
