Breeches
1780-1810
Description
A pair of buckskin leather breeches with a fall front. This style of breeches was usually unlined. This pair is unlined, with the exception of small rectangular panels of linen on the back of the cuff stitched into the breeches to provide support for the buttons. The exterior is white, with the exception of the bottom leg cuffs, which are tan. Groups of bone buttons close the fall front and each leg cuff.
