Description

A woman's false vest front, made from a slim panel of ivory and blue silk damask.The fabric pattern is striped and covered in a repeating pattern of meandering floral ribbons and floral sprigs. The sides are practically mirror images: each oval button is positioned at the bottom of a slanted buttonhole. Each side has two round covered buttons near the bottom and three oval covered buttons. The one difference between the fronts would be the lack of functional buttonholes at the bottom of the wearer's left side. Lined in ivory satin. Mark: Label on the interior of the collar. Stamped in gold "H. Creed and Co 7 Rue Royal Paris"
