Pelisse

Description

A silk pelisse (a type of outer coa, open in the front and designed t with a high neck) with wadded rolleaux detail at the hem, along each front side and along the collar. Lined in silk. Silk (or possibly linen) tassels decorate the bodice. The pelisse closes with brass hooks. There are two brass eyes (at the top and bottom of the row) and the remaining eyes are made from thread.Decorative silk belt at the back closes with a brass hook/eye. The sleeve is trimmed with slanted vertical strips of matching silk.
