SRAL analysis in 1983 indicates the silver alloy Ag 86.2% Cu 12.9% Au .12% Pb .5%. The lab report remarked that this spoon is heavily cleaned but appears to have areasonable alloy for 18th century silver but the spoon is suspected spurious.
