Measurement Notes
SRAL analysis in 1983 indicates clearly modern and atypical silver alloy: Side Ag 98.2% Cu.91% Au .02% Pb .01%. Handle Ag 97.3% Cu 1.01% Au .004% Pb .005%. Nickel also was detected in both locations: .76% and 1.57%. The lab's comment about nickel and the high content of silver is that the creamer is probably silverplated over a flash coat of nickel. The plating possibly covers repairs or modifications.
