Parasol

Description

A cloth parasol. The primary fabric is black cotton net, trimmed with cream cotton (or linen) lace and black silk trim. The shade portion is set into a wood shaft (painted white). The shaft is set into a turned wooden handle (painted black. A wooden tip (painted white), at the opposite end, is capped in white metal. The parasol was not opened during cataloguing and the frame was not observed from the inside.
