Augustus H. Hayden (Maker)
As per previous cataloguer: A. H. Hayden was probably the seller, not the maker, Augustus, with his brothers Sidney and Nathaniel, had a partnership in a jewelry store from 1846 to 1852, (and with Sidney and W. G. Whilden from 1852 to 1863. From 1863 on for a year or two A. H. Hayden served in the Confederate Army, after which he went into business for himself. S-1794. Maker A. H. Hayden was a jewelry seller.
