Origin typical N.Y. or N.J. as per Janet Crossan 4/79. This coverlet nearly matches the pattern of a coverlet woven by Christian Van Nortwick of Asbury, New Jersey, illustrated in "Coverlets and the Spirit of America" (2002), pp. 60-61. (LZB, 7/24/2008)
