Origin Notes

Origin in Hancock Shaker Community. Previously catalogued as New Lebanon, New York. However, Christian Goodwillie, curator at Hancock Shake Village, suggested in September 2006 that the style of the legs is more reminiscent of a table at Hancock. There is a stereo slide of the table in situ in their collections.
