Simeon maried Sally Boardman (sister of Thomas and Sherman Boardman) on November 24, 1808. After splitting time between Hartford, Connecticut and Springfield, Massachusetts, he moved to Springfield permanently around 1825 (Laughlin, vol.3, p.89-90).
